Who We Are

The University Club of Winter Park, a public nonprofit organization founded in 1934, comprises a diverse group of men and women who enjoy intellectual pursuits and socializing. Our members hold degrees from various institutions of higher education and represent a wide array of professions, including education, business, government, the military, medicine, law, engineering, science, religion, the arts, and many other fields. This diversity brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our community.

Historically, the Club has been seen as a community of professionals. However, we also value members who do not have a college degree, recognizing their membership based on life experience.

We Are an Active Group

Members join for intellectual stimulation, community service, and fellowship, cultivating educational, artistic, scientific, philanthropic, literary, and historical interests. The University Club offers numerous opportunities for socializing and sharing cultural experiences with fellow members. These include Friday dinners and lunches, discussion groups, games, exercise sessions, movie viewings, language practice groups, and various events and celebrations throughout the year.

Pride in The Past – Faith in The Future.

Our book relating the first 75 year history of the Club. This book is available to all members, in PDF form, in the Members Only section.
