Philanthropy
Members can support the community by contributing to the Club’s Community Assistance and Educational Assistance funds to benefit local community and higher education organizations. Each year grants are awarded to nonprofit groups in Winter Park and surrounding areas. Additionally, scholarship grants are provided to local higher education institutions, such as Orange Technical College, Seminole State College, Valencia College, and Rollins College, to make available to deserving students.
Members are also encouraged to make donations to help defray the Club’s operating expenses and to support the Club’s various programs and activities.
Art exhibits
The Club’s Gallery features exhibits of works by local artists, with new displays rotated every two months. Artists are typically scheduled twelve to eighteen months in advance.
This program has been active for several years, showcasing the works of more than 200 local artists. Occasionally, group exhibitions are featured.
Artists generally host a reception on a Sunday afternoon during the exhibit month to introduce their work. Both the exhibit and reception are open to the public at no charge.
