Philanthropy
Members can support the community by contributing to the Club’s endowments created to benefit local organizations, colleges, and universities. Each year, grants are awarded to nonprofit groups in Winter Park and surrounding areas. Additionally, scholarships are provided to deserving students at the University of Central Florida, Rollins College, Valencia Community College, and Seminole State College. To support these philanthropic efforts, a fundraising event is typically held once a year at the Club.
Members are also encouraged to make donations to help defray the Club’s operating expenses.
Art exhibits
The Club’s Gallery features exhibits of works by local artists, with new displays rotated every two months. Artists are typically scheduled twelve to eighteen months in advance.
This program has been active for several years, showcasing the works of more than 200 local artists. Occasionally, group exhibitions are featured.
Artists generally host a reception on a Sunday afternoon during the exhibit month to introduce their work. Both the exhibit and reception are open to the public at no charge.
