Club Activities
People with common interests meet to participate in numerous activities―currently numbering more than forty. Activity groups are based upon members’ interests and almost all activities are led, organized, and carried out by members. Most of our activities are interactive and participative. In addition, the management of the Club is also carried out mostly by members.
The University Club of Winter Park is unique. We have not found a similar organization in the whole country, indeed in the whole world, that has so many activities (more than 1000 per year), in such a variety of fields, the majority of with emphasis on intellectual pursuits.
Meetings are held during the daytime and in the evening. See below for all activities’ brief descriptions, and this month’s Calendar of Events for activity dates and times.
The various intellectual activities are open to the public. Per Club policy, non-members are encouraged to donate $5 each time they attend.
